*Our staff provides all the
speech and swallowing evaluations and treatment for the hospital. Services
for inpatients range from NICU to geriatric.
*We have performed modified
barium swallow studies in the medical imaging department since
1984.
*SRMC Recently purchased state-of-the-art videostroboscopy
equipment, and we have the opportunity to assist local ENT's with this procedure
in the hospital.

Center
*Our office in this
rehabilitation facility allows the rehabilitation team to work closely with each
other to provide the necessary therapies for each patient to reach his or her
maximum potential.
Public Schools of
Robeson County
*We have had an excellent
relationship with the school systems throughout the years. Our staff contracts
each school year to assist the public school speech language pathologist in
meeting the needs of school-age children.
*Woodhaven is the long-term
care facility of SRMC. We provide services as required by the patient's
physician at this center.
Woodhaven -
A Nursing and Alzheimer's Care Center
*SPS contracts with the
preschool program to evaluate and provide therapy for children ages 3 to
5.
Shining Star
Preschool System
*When children are unable
to come to the outpatient clinic we provide services at day-care
centers.
*When patients are unable
to physically leave the home, physicians request our services at the
individual's home.
*SPS has a grant through
the Robeson County Partnership for Children. It allows us to provide free
speech screenings to any two-year old child in Robeson
County.
