Speech Pathology Services
of
Robeson,
Inc.
Speech Pathology
was founded by Linda Aldridge Smith in 1979. A native of Western North
Carolina, she graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelors of Science
Degree in Speech Pathology. She received her Master's Degree in Speech-Language
Pathology from the University of South Carolina. After years of experience
in clinical settings, she chose to leave her position as Director of Speech
and Hearing Services in an acute care hospital to open a private practice. She
chose Lumberton for several reasons, including its easy access to and from the
North and South Carolina coastal areas, and the need for speech services in
the area.
Our clinical staff at Speech Pathology treats patients at Southeastern Regional
Medical Center,

Southeastern
Lifestyle Center for Fitness and Rehabilitation, Public Schools of Robeson
County, preschool programs, home health agencies, and at our outpatient clinic
on Oakridge Boulevard. Our goal is to ensure that all of our clients receive the
best possible treatment in a friendly, professional, and caring environment.
